This page will include a variety of items, spells, NPCs, alternate rules, etc. that I have created and tested personally at my table. It’s a work in progress but I will be updating it regularly with my backlog of homebrew D&D creations!
Amulet of the Magi
Wonderous Item, Legendary (requires attunement)
A simple golden necklace from which hangs a golden disc inlaid with a black opal.
This amulet allows you to cast spells beyond typical mortal ability. By drawing on your life force you can cast a spell without an available spell slot. If you do so, you gain additional levels of exhaustion equal to the spell level/2 (Rounded up). Exhaustion gained this way cannot be removed by magical means.

– Up to 2 creatures of your choice are charmed by you (no save).
Which ever effect you choose continues for up to 1 minute so long as you use your action to continue playing the pipes. The effect ends early if the creature takes damage. After the effect ends, until you complete a long rest you have disadvantage on any rolls involving Charisma, and creatures have advantage on any saves against your charisma. The pipes have no effect on creatures with Legendary Actions.
Statuette of a Loyal Companion
Wondrous Item, Rare
A Statuette of a Loyal Companion is a statuette of a beast small enough to fit in a pocket. It is an exact replica of a beast with whom you have a close bond. If you use an action to speak the command word, the bonded beast is subject to the teleport spell and can appear within 10 feet of you in a space of your choosing.
This item has no effect if the beast is unconscious or on a different plane than you. If the beast dies the statuette will immediately break.
